Dental prostheses are intraoral devices designed to replace missing or severely damaged teeth. The patient has the choice between a variety of prostheses to which he can turn according to his needs and desires, in order to restore the physiological and aesthetic functions of the teeth.

When the tooth loss is complete, or the underlying tooth is too damaged to be kept in place, we can’t just use a simple crown. We have to use an artificial abutment: the dental implant.
The dental implant is incorporated in the jawbone to provide support for the crown.
The replacement device therefore consists of a visible part which is the dental crown and another invisible part which is the dental implant.

When the physiological and aesthetic functions of the tooth are compromised, but it is not too damaged, it can be kept in place to be used as a support on which is fixed a dental prosthesis which performs its functions while fitting the natural shade of the rest of the teeth.

Voulant littéralement dire « pont » en anglais, ce type de prothèses fait office de véritable pont reliant deux dents qu’il utilise comme piliers avec une ou plusieurs fausses dents entre les deux.
Ce type de traitement est idéal pour remplacer plusieurs dents adjacentes perdues ou trop abimées.
Removable prostheses
Removable dental prostheses replace one or more missing teeth by supporting the gum or adjacent dental structures.
As a result, they can be removed by the patient at any time.
These prostheses are stabilized in the mouth through a resin of the same color as that of the gum. They are therefore simple, easy to handle and above all allow the patient to remove them at any time in order to perform various maintenance procedures or to sleep comfortably.
